Services the Gubadley District Administration provides to residents. This section is informational only; requests are handled at the district office.

Tax

The Tax Department collects property tax, business tax and market and vehicle levies, and issues official receipts and proof of payment. Taxes are paid at the district office; payment periods are announced under Notices.

Land & Property

The Land & Property Department registers land ownership, issues building permits, resolves land disputes together with community elders and the dispute-resolution committee, and inspects construction. Applications are made at the district office with proof of ownership and identification.

Civil Registration

The Civil Registration Department issues birth, marriage and death certificates and residency letters. Applicants bring identification and, where required, witnesses; certificates are collected at the district office.

Business & Licensing

Every business operating in the district needs a business licence from the district office, renewed yearly. Applications include the owner’s identification and the business address. District markets, including Suuqa Dayax, are managed by the department together with traders.
